Postponed, not Cancelled, Spring Production to be May 20th - A Letter from Ms. Kathy
Dear Chamberlain School of Ballet students and families,
I hope this letter finds you all healthy and moving forward with necessary precautions we are all undertaking to help keep our community safe.
As you may know, our 2020 School Spring Production was scheduled for April 24th and 25th at the Eisemann Center in Richardson. We have since learned that the Eisemann Center has postponed all performances through the end of April. As such we have been forced to move our production to a new date.
Unfortunately, our options for rescheduling are extremely limited. Our 2020 Spring Production will now be held on Wednesday, May 20th, 2020 at 7:00 pm. I understand 7pm is a later time in the day. I am looking into other theater options for the babies and once a week classes in hopes those students can have their best performance experience.
Previously I announced, through our website and social media, CSB will extend spring break and remain closed through March 21st in response to the current Coronavirus outbreak. We are still currently following this plan and will update, through these same channels, on any changes as soon as they are made.
It saddens myself and my staff that our little Water Lillies and Lilac Fairies my have an altered performance. However, I have seen and experienced such wonderful support and care from our Chamberlain ballet families, friends, and community for several decades. I am positive our dancers’ time for performance will be met will the best of cheers.
Detailed information regarding the year end recital will be forthcoming.
Thank you for your continued support,
Kathy Chamberlain
