Chamberlain Ballet performing company members are the heart of our yearly production of The Nutcracker. Our production has been presented yearly since 1989, and it continues to be a tradition for North Texas families looking for a fantastic way to begin their holiday season. We are proud to bring in top performers, such as New York City Ballet’s Tiler Peck and Tyler Angle, as our guest artists for the production.

Chamberlain Ballet senior company members are able to participate in a choreography project which involves mentorship from company members of Bruce Wood Dance.
Chamberlain Ballet
Established: 1984
Chamberlain Ballet was established by Founder/Artistic Director Kathy Chamberlain as a way to generate performance opportunities for students. That goal has since been fulfilled thousands of times and continues to charge into the future. Chamberlain Ballet has grown to provide performance opportunities, world class master classes and training, and outreach for underserved and special needs in our community.
Company members are dedicated to both their study and training of both dance and academics. Our graduating seniors regularly receive full scholarships to prestigious university dance programs or step right into professional dance and/or musical theater jobs and professions.
Performances, Productions and Programs
Chamberlain Ballet is committed to presenting excellent ballet to enrich the North Texas Community, enlighten with arts education, and encourage through outreach programs. Chamberlain Ballet Company Members perform in fully staged productions including The Nutcracker on Thanksgiving weekend and community performances throughout North Texas. Our Company Members attend the Regional Dance America Southwest Festival, which will be held in the Midland, TX for 2023. Chamberlain Ballet offers Master Classes in addition to rehearsals throughout the year, featuring world class artists such as our guests this past year Lauren Anderson (Houston Ballet) and Tyler Angle (New York City Ballet). All Company Members must take Ballet Technique classes at Chamberlain School of Ballet, our official training school. Placement in the Company is based on the August auditions and at the discretion of the artistic team.

Chamberlain School of Ballet is the official training academy of Chamberlain Ballet, a 501(c)(3) not for profit company focusing on training, productions, and outreach.
Founded in 1984 as a way to provide more performance opportunities, Chamberlain Ballet has long been a highly regarded organization which focuses on productions, training, and outreach. Chamberlain School of Ballet students are given the opportunity to perform in such productions as the Nutcracker and Family Ballet Series installments such as Peter & the Wolf, just to name a couple.
