CSB Dancer Nia McKnight Wins Choreography Award!!!

YAY NIA!

Chamberlain School of Ballet is so thrilled to brag and shout about our wonderful student Nia McKnight. Nia just won the National PTA Reflections Outstanding Interpretation Award for Dance Choreography! Her piece “Where Did the Night Go?” was selected as the top entry for dance choreography, and we are not surprised at all! Nia has shown herself to be a wonderfully creative and inspiring dancer. She has also choreographed multiple wonderful works for Chamberlain Ballet’s Creates program.

From the National PTA site:

Each year, students in Pre-K through Grade 12 are invited to create and submit original works of art in the areas of Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography and Visual Arts. Based on State PTA rules and guidelines, these works of art may be submitted for state and national level awards and recognition opportunities.
