30 Oct How Spooky Can You Be?!
From Ms. Kathy
We are full swing into another great year at the studio.
Our new day program is off to a great start, and many of our school students are already preparing for Chamberlain Performing Arts’ production of The Nutcracker. More information on the production can be found at the link, or further on in our newsletter.
We will have information on our Spring Performance coming to you in November. The school’s performance will be April 27, 2019. Ms. Carolyn Cox will be sending out information soon.
Also, I anticipate we will be sending out another newsletter before Thanksgiving, but I just want to give further reminder that we are closed for the week of Thanksgiving. If your holiday plans take you out of town, we hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving and can make it back to see our Nutcracker for the Saturday or Sunday matinees!
Thank you all for your continued support of Chamberlain School of Ballet. Families and friends are what makes our community so strong. The faculty and I love teaching the art of dance to such a wonderful group!
PS. Halloween is tomorrow! don’t forget to dress up for dance!
Halloween Dress Up
We are still having our weekly classes this Wednesday. However, it IS halloween. As is tradition, we encourage our students to dress up in (appropriate for dance) costumes to celebrate!
Every year we get to see how fun and creative all our students and families can be. Don’t forget, you still need to be able to dance, whomever you may decide to be when you show up.
Someone had a Birthday!
Speaking of dressing up in costume, Ms. Katie’s son Jack celebrated his 4th birthday in studio 2 a couple Saturdays ago! Jack, his fellow dance classmates, and additional friends and family had a blast playing and dancing, eating pizza, and opening presents.
We have had the pleasure of watching Jack grow up. He is very sweet, funny, loving, and incredibly kind hearted. We wish him all the best on his best year yet!
Happy Birthday, Jack!
Many of our students are participating in Chamberlain Performing Arts’ 2018 production of The Nutcracker. We are so excited to see them on stage with New York City Ballet Principal Dancers Tiler Peck and Tyler Angle. For more information on this year’s production, please visit one of the links below.
Opening Night Reception
Following the opening night performance of The Nutcracker, there will be an opening night reception with the Chamberlain Performing Arts guest artists, company members, CPA staff, and fellow Chamberlain Performing Arts supporters. Come have a great time with us!
